The Wildwood ---
The
Wildwood
nine, along with the 9th hole
of the Marshes nine, was completed
and open for play since the
summer of 2009. In 2010
the 9th hole of the Marshes hole
was added to the play of the Wildwood nine to
create "The
Best 10 Hole Golf Course in Wisconsin".
Hole No. 1
of
the Marshes nine was completed and ready for light play in the
fall of 2010. This hole has now been designated as the "11th"
hole and is being used as the starting hole of the "back nine" for those wishing to play
18+ holes during the current season.
Finishing the Marshes ---
The
plan was to complete the remaining holes in the fall of 2010,
however, we lost a major investor due to the downturn in the economy.
Holes 2 through 8 are currently all laid out and roughed in, just waiting
for the irrigation system to be installed. Once the irrigation
is in, the fairways can be raked and seeded and the final
contouring of the greens can be completed and then seeded.
Our mission this year is to raise
$100,000 to purchase the balance of the irrigation
equipment and to pay for the labor to install it.
To
help accomplish this mission we are offering, for a
limited time only, a GOLD MEMBERSHIP to raise money.
The money from these memberships will go into a special
completion fund and will be used only for the soul purpose of
completing the course.
